Burao (The Rep)- 60 farmers from Togdher and Sool region completed a 2-day training on farming and fertilization at Burao University this week.
The training organized by GAA and funded by the European Union was aimed in razing farmer’s know- how and also provided opportunity for exchanging experience.
Mr. Ahmed Farah Jooj a senior GAA official staled that farmers were trained on fertilization, methods of farming, removing weeds and nursery.
GAA, a local NGO with H.Q in Burao covers agriculture, sanitation, health and water.
